Brookfields Primary School, Hingeston Street, B18 6PU 0121 675 1897
Head Teacher: Mrs Julie Berrow Deputy Head Teacher: Mrs Jane Cross
Well we’ve packed a lot into four days this week and today is the shortest day of the year! It’s been wonderful to see and hear all our productions and concerts. We are very proud of the children and their talents. We hope you like the cards and calendars that children are bringing home. Today’s raffle has been a big success and we thank staff, governors and Tesco who have all donated prizes. Children will come home with a gift today from Father Christmas and the lovely activities have continued today.
Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and congratulations to the lucky winners of the hampers and other lovely prizes.
We’ll let you know next term how much money we raised when we come back to school.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday 9th January 2018, which is when school opens for children.
After school clubs will start again in the week beginning 15th January.
The next coffee morning is in the Community House on Tuesday 9th January 2018. BEEAS will be there to talk to parents about English lessons. Please come along if you are interested.
Stay and Play …
The next session will be on Thursday 11th January 2018. Please come along and join in. If you would like more information, see Mrs Downs.
This starts at 8am every morning – cost £1 per child. Please contact the office if you would like your child to attend. Hot food and drinks available.
