Well done to Y6 who took their SATs tests this week and many thanks to the staff team who have supported them.

Y1 visited the West Midlands Safari Park yesterday, including Dinosaur World, as part of their work on dinosaurs. They had a lovely day. Here are some of their comments:

Look at the lions running around the park, the male lions are relaxing on that big hill’

Wow! What an amazing adventure.’

I liked it when we were palaeontologists and were digging for fossils.’

I liked it when we were finding out which dinosaurs were herbivores and carnivores.’

That is so funny the giraffe is going from car to car for food and he is so close.’

Y5 have had the fantastic opportunity of visiting Jewellery Quarter Academy this week to give them a taste of secondary school. They have had sessions of PE, Computing, Dance, Art, Drama, French and Business Studies.

Many thanks to Mr Bond, head teacher, for inviting them and all the staff who have worked with them. They were complimented for both their behaviour and knowledge.
