Birmingham City Mission visited us on Monday for assemblies. The theme
was “Words of Truth”. During phase assemblies we have discussed children’s behaviour around school so that school is a safe and happy place for
learning. Children were clear about their role in making school a great learning environment. Thank you to parents who have been coming to
our Inspire workshops. It really helps children’s learning. The last one
for this term is next week.
Our traditional Easter chocolate raffle will take place on the last day of this term, Thursday 29th March at 9am. If you are able to donate a chocolate egg, chocolate bars or small bags of sweets as prizes they would be very welcome. Please bring them to the office.
As part of our post-Ofsted actions we are now using “Behaviour Watch” which is an electronic system for recording incidents, including any incidents of bullying or racism. We still follow our behaviour policy for a stepped approach, but Behaviour Watch means that we can analyse the data and take appropriate actions.
The next assembly refreshments will be Y4M on Friday 23rd March. Please come and join us.
The next coffee morning will be in the Community House on Tuesday 20th March 2018. There will be more discussion about activities to support school.
All parents welcome.
Stay and Play …
The next session will be on Thursday 22nd March 2018. If you would like more information, see Mrs Downs.
Wake Up Shake Up will take place daily next week. There will be various activities during PE lessons. On Friday 23rd March, pupils can wear their sports clothes to school and bring in a 50p donation. Wrist bands will be available from the school daily at a cost of £1.00 each.
