BIG CITY WRITING PROJECT

The project ended with a presentation to parents yesterday.  Children’s poems have been collected in a special Brookfields

Newspaper.

Stan’s Café for an inspirational project.

Communication

We are always very happy to talk to parents. There is also a suggestions box in the Reception area for you to use and you can phone, too.

Please tell us what you like and what you think we could do better. But also please remember that if you don't tell us we can't help!

It's always good to start with your child's class teacher. You can also ask to see the Assistant Head Teachers Miss O'Rourke, Mrs Sandhu,Mrs Rogerson and Mrs Benton.

We also have three parent governors who you can talk toSardar Mahmood, Liz Tyler andFauzia Sharif. You may see them in the playground!

 

COFFEE MORNING

Coffee morning will take place on Tuesday 7th March 2017 at

 9.00 am in the Community House.

STARTWELL AWARD

Startwell is a project to support a healthy environment for children and families in the Early Years.

We are pleased to tell you that we have achieved a Level 1 award and we are now working towards Level 2.

BIRMINGHAM

ROYAL BALLET

Year 1 and 2 worked with the Royal Ballet this week as part of their

outreach programme. They had a lovely time doing ballet movements and gymnastics to music. 

Thank you to the dancers and

musicians who came in to school.

 

PARKING OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL

Please could parents make sure that they

park safely around the school perimeter. 

There have been a number of occasions

where parents have parked in restricted

areas and they have been asked to

move their cars.

Brookfields Primary School has achieved the School Games Bronze Mark for 2015/2016.

This is a great achievement for our school.
